Fishing Tournaments 
(Year-round)

Lake Oroville isn't called California's best bass lake for nothing. There are tournaments almost every week throughout the year, and there's even a new judging and spectator area at the Spillway Launch Area.

Feather Fiesta Days 
(2nd Saturday in May)

'Feather' is for Feather River, the mother of Lake Oroville, and 'Fiesta' means 'party.' What more do you need to know? Feather Fiesta Days is a nine-day celebration that culminates on the 2nd Saturday of May with a parade, chili cook-off, craft fair, activity center, and the biggest one day car show in the West.

 4th at Fireworks at the Forebay!

There are 3 great locations to enjoy the show: The North Thermalito Forebay and Aquatic Center, the Nelson Sports Complex, and the South Thermalito Forebay. There will be plenty of food, crafts for the kids, swimming, and music. You can even rent gear and watch it from the water. Don’t miss it! And don’t forget the fireworks start 30 minutes after sunset.

Oroville Salmon Festival 
(4th Saturday in September)

For thousands of years salmon born in the Feather River have made the exhausting trek from the Pacific Ocean back to their spawning grounds in Oroville. The community honors that journey with the annual Oroville Salmon Festival, an education fair with food, music, crafts, and a farmer's market.

Christmas Lights Parade 
(2nd Saturday in December)

Oroville's historic downtown district lights up the season with the sparkle of thousands of lights, many of which are attached to every kind of vehicle imaginable in the big parade!
