Lake Oroville offers several styles of camping, so you're sure to find just the right spot for your group or family.

Loafer Creek
Located at the south end of the lake, Loafer Creek has 137 tent campsites, each with parking, a table and a cooking stove. The facility also includes a boat launch, restrooms, coin-operated showers, drinking water, swimming, group sites, a dump station, and equestrian trails. Trailers up to 31 feet and RVs up to 40 feet are welcome. There are no hookups at Loafer Creek, however sanitation stations are available. (make a reservation)
Bidwell Canyon
Located directly next to the Bidwell Marina, Bidwell Canyon offers 75 tent/RV campsites can accommodate trailers up to 31 feet and motorhomes up to 40 feet. Bidwell Canyon has with a boat launch, fish-cleaning stations, restrooms, picnicking, and access to the Dan Beebee hiking trail. Nearby Bidwell Marina has a store, bar and grill, fuel dock, boat rentals, and a pumping station for holding tanks. Every campsite in Bidwell Canyon offers full hookups for RVs. (Make a reservation)
Lime Saddle
Lime Saddle is located at the northern end of Lake Oroville. It offers 30 tent sites, 15 RV sites with electric and water hookups, one group site for six tents, restrooms, a fish-cleaning station, hiking trails, concessions, and a boat launch. There is a central dump station for RVs, as well. Nearby Lake Oroville Marina offers fuel, boat rentals, boating supplies and a snack bar. (Make a reservation)
Spillway
Located at the north end of the Oroville Dam, the Spillway offers shaded picnic sites and overnight camping for RVs. There is also a boat ramp and restrooms.
Floating Campsites
Floating Campsites are the most unique way to enjoy Lake Oroville. These 20' x 24' double-decker platforms can fit 15 people and include docking for three boats, a gas BBQ, restroom, picnic table, lockable storage closet, food preparation area, and food storage. Equestrian Campsites
Located at Loafer creek, the Equestrian Camps are a horse-lover's dream come true. These sites feature all the comforts of home for your horse, including feed troughs, horse shower stalls, a circle ring, plenty of room to maneuver a trailer and access to trails.

Boat-in Campsites
Lake Oroville's Boat-in Campsites provide more privacy than regular campgrounds can offer, but you have to have your own boat to get to them. These first-come, first-serve sites are located along the extensive Lake Oroville shoreline and offer picnic tables, cooking stoves, and pit restrooms. Each Boat-in Campground is identified by signs along the shoreline. Obtain directions to your camp at the park entrance station or the launching area. Each camp has six to 26 individual campsites. There are four boat-in camping areas: Craig Saddle, Foreman Creek, Goat Ranch and Bloomer Primitive. The Bloomer Group Camp can accommodate up to 75 people, but reservations are required. RV Campsites
While RVs and trailers are allowed at every shore-based Lake Oroville Campground, only Bidwell Canyon and Lime Saddle campgrounds offer full hookups. Loafer CReek accepts trailers and RVs but only offers a sanitation station for dumping.
